Fibre is categorised as either soluble or insoluble fibre. Oats naturally contains both soluble and insoluble fibre. Insoluble dietary fibre plays a role in keeping the gut healthy. Soluble fibre, including beta-glucans plays a role in lowering cholesterol.

For one serving:
Pour 50 g of Smart Instant Oats Classic into a bowl.
Add approximately 160 ml boiling water or milk. Let it rest for 1 minute. Stir and enjoy!
TRADITIONAL METHOD On the stove
Boil approximately ¾ cup (180 ml) water or milk.
Add 50 g of Smart Instant Oats Classic and stir well.
Cook for 1-2 minutes over medium heat and serve.
In the microwave Add approximately ¾ cup (180 ml) water or milk and 50 g of Smart Instant Oats Classic to a microwavable bowl and stir well.
Microwave on high for 1 minute and serve.

Oats are my favorite however its such a hassle to cook them - to my surprise the futurelife oats are fantastic, I followed the instructions and added boiling water to the oats and left them to stand for a few minutes. They were smooth, soft without any hard bits and extremely tasty. So 10 out of 10 from me, the convenience of the product is important to as I have not got time to stand around and cook porridge in the morning.
So I will only be buying the Oats going forward :)
